Oat Latte Ice Pop
Sweet and creamy with a full espresso flavour. Beautiful at any time of year. You will need ice pop moulds and an espresso machine for this recipe. Some strong brewed coffee will suffice if you cannot access an espresso machine. A french press is a good option for brewing strong coffee. This recipe will make 4 x 50ml ice pops.
Ingredients
- 50ml Fixx Espresso (approx double shot. Any blend will work)
- 100ml Oat Milk (or your favourite milk alternative)
- 50g Ice
- 10ml simple syrup (made dissolving sugar in hot water 1:1)
Method
- Place your ice in a jug and brew your coffee directly onto it. Or, if using a french press, brew and pour the coffee onto the ice, flash-chilling it.
- Then pour your milk of choice and simple syrup into the same jug.
- When all the ice has melted, stir to ensure everything is evenly combined.
- Pour the liquid into your mould, leaving space for the sticks.
- Place in the freezer until fully frozen.
- For easy removal from the mould, pour some hot water on the outside before pulling.
