ABOUT

FiXX Single Origin #69 is a special coffee from the historical mountain region of Zongolica in the state of Veracruz. This area of outstanding natural beauty is heavily influenced by the rich heritage of its people, most of whom are Nahua, a Nahuatl-speaking indigenous group and direct descendants of the precolonial Aztecs who ruled Mexico. This wonderful coffee has been produced by 20 women who refer to it as WPZ (Women Power Zongolica!). Coffee farms in Zongolica are agro-ecosystems that work to balance energy and nutrients to preserve the region's biodiversity, and the 20 women who produced this coffee adhered to the same standards and practices on their own farms. After being handpicked, the cherries are processed using the washed method before being dried for 15 days. The resulting coffee is clean and sweet with notes of chocolate, caramel, and citrus.
