Hot Whiskey Coffee
This recipe is a winner for those dark winter evenings. A hot whiskey (or hot totty, if you prefer) but! with a coffee twist. To make this drink, you will need some coffee-infused whiskey. The recipe to do this is also on this recipe page. Once you have this, the rest is simple. All you need (besides the ingredients) is a kettle.
Ingredients
- 35ml of FiXX-infused whiskey
- 200ml boiling water
- 1/2 a slice of orange
- 5 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- a teaspoon of honey
Method
- Put the kettle on.
- While it is boiling, get half a slice of orange and stud the rind with five whole cloves.
- Next, in a mug or strong-walled glass, add your honey, coffee-infused whiskey, and clove-studded orange and top up with boiling water.
- Then, use your cinnamon stick to stir the drink, dissolving the sugar.
- Leave the stick in there while you enjoy your hot coffee whiskey. Enjoy!
