FiXX Single Origin #57 is an exceptional coffee from Rwanda sourced from the Muzo washing station in Gakenke, located in the scenic rolling hills of the northern province. This remarkable coffee is produced by Izikere Women, a group dedicated to empowering women to become more resilient and regain their positions in society and their communities. In this region, as in many others worldwide, women often face challenges in achieving financial independence. Cultural norms and stigma can lead to social isolation, depression, and hopelessness. In response to these difficulties, a group of women farmers formed a solidarity group and chose the name Izikere, which means "Hope" in Kinyarwanda. This coffee has been produced washed with an extended fermentation period to create a full-bodied brew with fruity notes of red apple and peach.
