Tanzania Songwe, Mbozi District
Originally created in 2014, the agricultural cooperation, Ushirika Wa Uzalishaji Ilembo draw water from the Shumba River, some 300m away by pump. The cherries are depulped before being graded and fermented for 24-36 hours. They are then soaked for 12 hours before being dried on tables for 9-14 days.
TASTING NOTES: Smooth and syrupy with butterscotch and vanilla sweetness, juicy citrus acidity and a clean, moreish finish.
*Coffee is available as beans or ground to order!
