Papua New Guinea - Hai Tambu, Eastern Highlands
FiXX Single Origin #70 is a distinctive washed Arabica coffee from the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, an area high above sea level and renowned for its rich volcanic soil. This fantastic coffee is grown by smallholder farms using traditional and locally adapted varieties, including Typica, Tim Tim, Ateng, and S795. The coffee plants benefit from the region's fertile volcanic soils, abundant rainfall and cool mountain climate, which help develop exceptional cup quality. The cherries are then hand-picked and processed using the washed method, resulting in a velvety body, lively acidity and a complex flavour profile. In the cup, expect elegant herbal notes complemented by sweet blackcurrant and bright mandarin citrus, creating a clean and balanced coffee that showcases the unique terroir of Papua New Guinea's renowned Eastern Highlands region.
TASTING NOTES: Blackcurrant, Mandarin, Vibrant Acidity
