How to Brew Coffee with AeroPress
One of the best things about AeroPress is its ability to brew coffee in various ways. This can seem intimidating if you're new to the AeroPress. But if this is your first time, follow this simple recipe using the classic method to make yourself a nice mug of coffee.
What you'll need
- 200ml hot water (80°C)
- 15g of your favourite FiXX
- Grind size: Fine
- Time: 2 mins
Method
- Insert a filter into the cap and lock it in place
- Rinse brewer and filter paper with hot water
- Sit the main part of the Aeropress on your cup
- Add ground coffee
- Add hot water
- Stir coffee
- Put the piston in place and pull back slightly to create a vacuum
- Wait one minute
- Push the plunger down until all the liquid is poured (you will hear a hissing sound)
- Pull the piston back 1 inch to stop the brewer from dripping
- Enjoy
