Fixx Coffee Review by Coffee Mumbo Jumbo
Thanks to Elizabeth Furth from CoffeeMumboJumbo for her review of Fixx Coffee.
“So, first off, the packaging. FIXX comes in a lovely vibrant orange bag with a one way valve……What do I think of the packaging? I like it…. So far so good. It’s all very promising. Flipping the bag over I read , 100% Arabica beans. Even better. The anticipation forever growing I read on. ….
On to the coffee itself….. The smell is a touch deeper and less sweet than what I have recently been smelling. Still, a pleasant, familiar smell which I equate with good, rich beans roasted in particular with espresso and espresso milk based drinks in mind.
….. A lovely creamy, thick and velvety fluid with a great guinness effect and bouncy crema sat in the cup, waiting for my lips.
The mouthfeel was as thick as it looked during the extraction. And yet, a very smooth, definite coffee experience lingered pleasantly on my tongue. My immediate reaction was that this espresso would cut extremely well through milk and make for an exquisite latte, flat white or cappuccino!
But make no mistake, all in all this is a lovely rich blend. To top it, I had great fun with FIXX, specially as CoffeeMumboJumbo enjoys the challenge of getting the best out of each and every bean!”

Happy Valentine’s Day
A selection of coffee Valentine verses from “A Fixx of Love for Valentine’s Day” Competition.
Coffee coffee – what a drink!
I’m such an addict I do think
I drink it first thing every day
It boosts my brain in every way
It’s warm and dark and smells divine
It brightens up my day each time
It gives me that kick that i need
Coffee is my friend indeed
There’s just no nicer treat for me
Than a fresh cup of Fixx coffee!

Violets are blue and roses are red
could I have tea and cake instead
actually what might be the better plan
is the cake for me and coffee for my woman.

Fixx Review by Aeropress
Review from the ~The Friday Press~ Aeropress UK
A skilful blend of Sumatran, Ethiopian and Brazilian beans, smooth, creamy and pleasantly spicy sensations.
… To the nose a dark and smokey almonds, a loverly aroma teases your senses. In the cup low acidity gives a smooth and delightful cup, no sugar needed here. This cup has warm undertones of milk chocolate and cream, we could and probably will be drinking this coffee all day.
We find any coffee that wins the Great Taste Awards a truly magnificent coffee well worth a try.
