Fixx Coffee

We previously wrote of Karen Eland, an Oklahoma artist who uses espresso coffee as paint.  Among her beautiful collection of art which includes classic masterpieces such as Michelangelo, Matisse and Picasso, she now adds the Royals Prince William and  Kate’s to her collection.

So you may have thought coffee was only for drinking, well the latest news is that you can wear it too. A company in Taiwan has created a multi dollar business from using old coffee grounds to make clothing.

The fabric is made using coffee grounds and with a unique characteristic of being a quick drying material, sportswear companies such as Adidas, Nike and Northface have placed orders for this new type of clothing.  There is also plans to extend the range to shoes, blankets and soaps in the future.

With so many great coffee gifts out there in the market place, this absolutely has to be our favourite.  Coffee Creations - Art using only espresso.

Karen Eland, an Oklahoma artist, not only drinks coffee but uses it as paint.  She doesn’t stop there and takes it one step further by injecting humour into classic masterpieces such as Michelangelo, Matisse and Picasso.  How? – She adds a cup of coffee!

This is certainly a unique and quirky gift for those avid coffee lovers!
